Experimenting with shapes,

colors and different elements

Serkan Uzun mistakenly made an error

in the process of his creation.

Instead of feeling defeated by this,

he felt the creative potential in this so called „mistake“ and declared it the foundation of his creative endeavor. 

Combining his love to fashion, the art

of designing clothing and creating

art itself, by his own technique.

He pins, sews, photographs, collects, collages and pours his impressions and experiences from all over the world

into his unique pieces.

Once framed, every trace

of the bits he used, get deleted.

The outcome is one unique piece of art no one could ever replicate. 

His Three-dimensional Collages

are alive and carry soul,

love and passion.

A physical demonstration

of our minds layers,

overlapping experiences of

life’s endless possibilities

and the impact of perspective.

To me, this is arts true purpose and Serkan Uzun an outstanding artist of our modern times. The message his work carries isn’t for the faint of hearts. It is brave, it is direct and it is

fast forward.
